1. Purpose

These House Rules (Internal Regulations) establish the rules of operation, coexistence, safety and use of the facilities of Arena Suites Málaga, in order to guarantee a comfortable stay for all guests, in accordance with the tourism regulations in force in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.

Completing a reservation or staying at the establishment implies full acceptance of these Regulations.

The Management of the establishment is responsible for ensuring compliance with these Regulations and for handling any incident related to your stay.

3. Conditions of admission

Any person who has correctly completed their reservation and complies with the conditions established by current legislation may stay at the establishment.

The establishment may refuse admission or continued stay in any of the following circumstances:

  • Failure to provide identification as required by applicable regulations.
  • Non-compliance with the reservation or payment conditions.
  • Exceeding the authorised capacity.
  • Behaviour that disturbs the coexistence, rest or safety of the establishment.
  • Being intoxicated or under the influence of substances that seriously alter behaviour.
  • Violent, aggressive, discriminatory or disrespectful attitudes towards other guests or staff.
  • Serious breach of these Regulations.

If necessary, the establishment may request the assistance of law enforcement authorities.

4. Guest registration

All guests must present a valid official identity document or passport before accessing their room, in accordance with the regulations in force on traveller registration.

Persons who have not been registered by the establishment may not access the rooms, except with the express authorisation of the Management.

5. Times

Check-in: from 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: until 12:00 noon.

Late check-outs may be subject to availability and the corresponding surcharge.

6. House rules

In order to guarantee the rest of all guests:

  • Quiet hours are established between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
  • Parties or gatherings that cause disturbance are not allowed.
  • Playing music at high volume is not permitted.
  • Respectful behaviour towards other guests and the establishment’s staff must be maintained at all times.

7. Adults Only establishment

Arena Suites Málaga is an establishment intended exclusively for persons over 18 years of age. Minors will not be accommodated.

8. Non-smoking policy

In accordance with current legislation, smoking is prohibited in the rooms and in all indoor areas of the establishment.

Non-compliance may result in charges for specialised cleaning and odour removal, in addition to any legally applicable liabilities.

9. Pets

Pets are not allowed.

This restriction does not apply to guide dogs or other legally recognised assistance animals.

10. Use of the rooms

Rooms must be used exclusively for the contracted accommodation.

The following is prohibited:

  • Altering the furniture.
  • Tampering with electrical installations.
  • Using appliances that may pose a safety risk.
  • Carrying out illegal activities.
  • Bringing in flammable or dangerous materials.

11. Use of the jacuzzi

Rooms equipped with a jacuzzi must use it in accordance with the instructions provided by the establishment.

The following is prohibited:

  • Using oils, salts, foams or products that may damage the system.
  • Introducing objects that may obstruct the pipes.
  • Tampering with the technical systems.

Use of the jacuzzi is the sole responsibility of the guest.

12. Cleaning

The cleaning service is carried out daily within the hours established by the establishment.

Please facilitate access for the cleaning staff.

13. Safety

For safety reasons:

  • Tampering with fire protection equipment is prohibited.
  • Emergency exits must be respected.
  • In the event of an evacuation, staff instructions must be followed.
  • The lift must not be used during a fire emergency.

14. Personal belongings

The establishment shall not be liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings not deposited in the areas provided for their safekeeping, except in the cases provided for by applicable legislation.

15. Damages

Guests shall be liable for damage caused by improper use of the establishment’s facilities, furniture or equipment.

The hotel may claim the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged items.

16. Services provided by third parties

Where certain services are provided by external companies, they shall be governed by their own particular conditions, without prejudice to the information provided by the establishment.

17. Complaint forms

The establishment has Official Complaint Forms of the Junta de Andalucía, in both physical and electronic format, in accordance with current regulations.

18. Data protection

Personal data provided by guests will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018 and other applicable regulations.

19. Breach of the Regulations

Failure to comply with any of the rules contained in these Regulations may result in denial of access to or continued stay at the establishment, without prejudice to any legal action that may apply.

20. Publication of the Regulations

These Regulations shall remain available to guests at the establishment’s reception and on the official website of Arena Suites Málaga, in Spanish and English.

Final provision

These Regulations have been drawn up in accordance with Article 25 of Decree-Law 13/2020 of 18 May, regulating hotel establishments in Andalusia, and other applicable tourism regulations.
